There is no greater joy for me than being here.

When I was very young I occasionally had this idea that I’d really enjoy life in my old age.

Well, guess what, that is exactly what’s happening.  I’ve never been happier.

I took a short walk along our road this morning.

The heavy snow has all melted.  But there was a dusting of new snow when I got up this morning.  And clouds were just lifting off the peaks as Tessa and I walked along our road.

The scene above is a photo I took coming back toward our cabin which they call a “casita” out here in the Southwest.

This is just a brief note to acknowledge the preciousness of this present moment.

It is too joyful to miss.

How many more will I be privileged to be given while I wander this path on earth?

Blessings and joy to all of you this day.
